Global Friendship Ministry's Transformative Year: Bringing Hope and Faith in Jesus to Prisons

Throughout the past year, the Global Friendship Ministry embarked on an incredible journey, reaching 19 prisons across diverse cities such as Jinka, Arbamench, Harar, Zeway, Asela, Butajira, Woliso, Arbamench, Wolkite, Adama, Dibrberhan, Dodola, Bale Robe, and Dill. This monumental effort left an enduring impact, profoundly touching the lives within these facilities by introducing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and nurturing hope.

The impact of this initiative was profound and far-reaching. A staggering 459 individuals found salvation through the ministry's efforts, and an awe-inspiring 380 individuals chose to embrace baptism, symbolizing their commitment to sharing the teachings of Jesus Christ with others. These numbers underscore the significant changes and newfound hope resonating within the prison walls.

Additionally, the ministry's dedication to empowering leaders was evident through invaluable training sessions and the provision of essential materials. These resources equipped leaders with the necessary tools to continue and uphold this impactful work within the prison communities.

A poignant highlight of this mission was the provision of Bibles in the native languages of each recipient. This gesture not only facilitated a deeper understanding of the Word but also cultivated stronger connections between the ministry representatives and the incarcerated individuals, fostering a sense of unity and mutual understanding centered around Jesus Christ's teachings.
